Sanirim bu benim dördüncüm, ama hicbirini ardi arda kullanmadigimi itiraf etmeliyim, yani beni kendine o derecede baglayamadi. Hep kullandigim bir rimel, ama bitirdikten sonra baska rimeller de denedigim bir sey oldu. Gayet güzel bir rimel, blogger ve Youtube'cular arasinda cok sevilen bir ürün. Tek tek her yönden inceleyelim mi, ne dersiniz? :-)
Hello everyone! Today I want to talk about my current favorite mascara: Max Factor False Lash Effect! I think this is my fourth tube, but I have to admit that I didn't use those one after one; it just hasn't 'amazed' me that much to stay with it all the time. I have used different ones in between. It is a nice mascara and quite popular amongst Youtubers and bloggers. Let's look at it from all aspects, shall we?
Paketi: Bircogunuz biliyordur herhalde, paketi ve fircasini ayni Covergirl markasinin Lashblast rimeli gibi. Ondan da iki tane vardi bende hatta. Herhalde ayni ana-markanin ürünü bunlar, bu yüzden yüzde yüz ayni oluyorlar. Benim zevkime göre biraz fazla kaba bir paket, ben sahsen daha 'zarif' (?) görünen rimelleri severim, ama zevkler tartisilmaz. Bir de bir problemi daha var; rimelleri genelde 3 ay kullanacagimizi biliyorsunuzdur herhalde, iste yaklasik 2 ay sonra, yani rimel yavas yavas kurumaya basladiginda zor aciliyor, bayagi bilek gücü lazim acabilmek icin.
Package: Many of you already know that this is the excact same as the Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara (the packaging AND the wand). I also had two of the CG one. I think the package is a little too big; I personally prefer thinner and more 'elegant' tubes. There is also another problem with the packaging; you all know that mascara is meant to be used 3 months, right? After about 2 months (when it starts drying slightly), the tube is extremely hard to open, you really need some muscles for this.
Fircasi: Ben sahsen lastik fircalari tercih ediyorum. Zaten bu rimeli almamin sebebi de lastik fircasi olmasiydi. Nedense lastik fircalarin kirpiklerimin daha dibine girdigini düsünüyorum, normal killi fircalar bende bunu beceremiyor. Bayagi kalin bir firca, fakat lastik uclari cok kisa, bu yüzden kirpik diplerine kadar girebilmesi beni sasirtiyor dogrusu. Fircasi her kirpigi sonuna kadar rimelle kapliyor.
Wand: I personally prefer rubber wands, because I feel like I can work better with them. It's also the reason why I bought this mascara in the first plac (apart from the reason that I can't find Covergirl products in Germany, otherwise I would have bought the Lash Blast). This wand is quite thick, but the bristles are really short. It really surprises me that it can really get into the roots of your lashes. The wand coats every lash with the mascara, which is also great.
Yapisi: Rimelin kendisinin ne cok kalin ne de cok hafif bir yapisi var; ikisinin tam ortasi diyebilirim. Gözlerde cok agir hissetmiyor, fakat simdiye kadar kullandigim diger rimellerden daha cabuk kuruyor. Digerleri üc ayda kuruduysa, bu iki ayda kuruyor nedense. Fakat ben sahsen kuru halini daha cok seviyorum. Cok islak haliyle kuru hali kirpiklerime iki farkli bir görünüm veriyor ve ben biraz kurumus olan rimelin kirpiklerime verdigi etkiyi daha cok seviyorum. Kirpikleri daha da kalinlastiriyor.
Uygulamasi: Adim adim uygulamami göstereyim sizlere en iyisi.
Formula: The formula itself is neither thick nor thin; it's in the middle of those two. It doesn't feel heavy on the lashes, but it dries out faster than the other mascaras I've used so far. So, if the other dried out in three months, this one dries out in two. However, I like the formula better when it's dry. The wetter and the dried out formula give my lashes two different looks and I like the look with the dried out formula more to be honest, because it thickens my lashes like no other.
Application: I'll show you how I apply it step by step.
Step 1: Temiz kanvas. // Bare canvas.
Step 2: Kirpik kiviricisi. // Lash curler.
Step 3: Rimeli bir mendille siliyorum ve fazlaliklarini aliyorum. Böylece fazlalik olan rimelin göz kapagima gelmesini engelliyorum. // I wipe off any excess from the wand. This way, I prevent the mascara from smearing on my upper eyelid.
Step 4: Üst kirpiklere bir kat sürüyorum. Ilk kattan hemen sonra zaten kivirdigim kirpiklerim yine düsüyor. Yillardir makyaj delisiyim ve hala bunu nasil engelleyecegimi bilemiyorum. Bu konuda yardiminiza cok ihtiyacim var arkadaslar. Waterproof rimel kullansam bile kivirik kalmiyorlar. :-( // I apply one coat to my upper lashes. Right after applying, my curled lashes fall down again. I've been into make-up for so many years, but still haven't figured out how to make my lashes stay curled. Even if I use waterproof mascara, it just doesn't hold the curl.
Step 5: Üst kirpiklerime ikinci kati sürüyorum. // I apply a second coat to my upper lashes.
Step 6: Alt kirpiklerime bir kat sürüyorum. Buraya kadar fircayi tekrar bandirmiyorum, üstünde ne varsa onu kullaniyorum. // Now I apply a coat to my bottom lashes, but only use what's left on the brush.
Step 7: Sonra fircayi tekrar bandirip üst kirpiklerime bir kat daha sürüyorum. Yani 3. kat. // Finally, I apply another coat on my upper lashes.
Bu da sonuc iste. :-) Ben gayet memnunum, fakat dedigim gibi, kivirdigim kirpikler kalmiyor, düsüyor. Buna karsi bir cözüm bulmam lazim. Waterproof ise yaramiyor, kac rimel denedim bir bilseniz. Sizin icin faydali bir yöntem biliyorsaniz, mutlaka benimle paylasin, olur mu? Gelelim diger noktalara.
That's the outcome. I'm satisfied, but like I said, I don't know how to keep the curl, my lashes are always droopy. If you know any method to keep them up, then please share it with me! Let's move on to the other points.
Fiyat: Orta, ama benim standartlarima göre yine de pahali. Ben daha cok parasini fondöten ve cilt bakimina yatiran bir insan oldugum icin 5€'dan daha pahali olan rimellere karsi bir fobim var. Belki de kirpiklerimle yasadigim sorun bundan kaynaklaniyordur: rimellere para yatirmayi sevmedigim icin. Belki de pahali lüks bir rimel alsam bu problemi yasamayacagim. Bir denemem lazim. :-) Ama ne zaman YSL ya da Chanel rimellerine bakip 'bunu alsam mi?' desem, yine vazgectiriyorum kendimi. Elim cüzdana gidip paraya kiyamiyor iste. Onun yerine gidip pahali lüks cilt bakimi almayi tercih ediyorum. Bu kadar dirdirin arasinda bu rimelin fiyatini söylemeyi unuttum: Normal fiyati 11€ civarinda (25 TL filan yapiyor sanirim), ama bunu indirimde yakaladim 5€'ya, bu yüzden hemen 3-4 tane kaptim. Biliyorsunuz, para iste. :P
Price: It's okay, but still expensive for me. I'm the type of person who would spend money on foundation and skincare rather than mascara. I have a phobia against any mascara that's more than 5€. Maybe that's why I have this drooping problem with my lashes. Maybe if I try out a more expensive mascara this problem won't happen again. I'll have to try. But whenever I' in front of the YSL or Chanel stand, I convince myself to not buy their mascaras. I just don't like spending money on that. Anyways, the price for this mascara is 11€, however, I bought it on sale for 5€, so I of course stocked up like crazy.
Son düsüncelerim: Kesinlikle güzel ve etkili bir rimel. Kaliciligi kesinlikle iyi, bütün gün kaliyor ve bir yere de akmiyor. (En azindan benim kirpiklerimde öyleydi). Benim gibi kisa ve düz kirpikler icin gayet iyi, fakat her ne kadar mendille fazlaligi alsam da, sadece rimel sürdügüm günlerde yine de göz kapagima bulasiyor, bunu engelleyemiyorum. Ama eyeliner sürünce bu bulasmis rimeli örtüyor, bu yüzden ekstra dönüp göz kapagimi silmek zorunda kalmiyorum. Hemen de kuruyor. Insallah bu yaziyla bu rimeli almayi düsünenlere yardimci olabilmisimdir. Her yönden incelemeye calistim. :-)
Conclusion: I definitely like this mascara, because it is very effective. The staying power is really good and it doesn't smudge (at least on my eyes). It thickens my lashes. Doesn't really do much for the length, but the outcome is still nice. I would recommend this to anyone with short or long but thin lashes. I hope you found this review helpful.
